St.Anne, The Patroness of our school(the Grand mother of Jesus)
St.Anne had a deep faith in God and surrendered totally herself to God’s will. She was patient in her trials and sufferings. She loved her neighbours and helped the poor people. Henceforth she became the mother of Blessed Virgin, the Mother of Jesus.
St.Anne believed in Divine wisdom. In our life situation, human knowledge often takes an upper hand. Wisdom belongs solely to God. Wisdom is to see the world through God’s eyes. While human beings calculate more on productivity and utility, God calculate more on fruitfulness and fulfilment. St.Anne, intercede for us to enlighten our minds.
EDUCATIONAL GOAL OF OUR CONGREGATION
St.Anne’s Matric Hr. Sec. School in their educational apostolate, strive for human liberation at all levels among those entrusted to their care. Called to serve in simplicity among the poor, the sisters in all their educational institution pay special attention to the downtrodden and the marginalized and help them to grow in knowledge and awareness.
It is our earnest endeavour to inculcate among our students and teachers a spirit of love for God and neighbour. Christian values are their strength to achieve this.
We also read the signs of times and educate our students in social awareness, brotherhood, justice and freedom of the individual so well enshrined in the constitutions of our country.
With the help of awareness movements and other such innovative exercises, we advocate in them a sense of fellow-ship and Christian charity and at the same time train them to be the leaders of a better future.

A Brief History
St.Anne’s Matric. Hr. Sec. School consists of classes from Pre. K.G. to Std XII. The school is open to children of all communities.
We are in an area of knowledge abundance. Knowledge, in itself is not power, rather the application of knowledge is where power lies. Knowing and accepting the reality is the first step towards action. Until you begin to think on the levels of those in control, you won’t reach your full potential in combating it. It is a positive power of unequalled strength.
The phrase “Knowledge is Power” implies that with knowledge or education one’s potential or abilities in life will certainly increase. It is possible that Bacon was paraphrasing Proverb 24:5 “A wise man has great power, and a man of knowledge increases strength”. If the world exists solely as the content of consciousness, then knowledge itself can be used to directly manipulate the content of reality.
The school aims to achieve the goal of moulding a generation of youth who seek wisdom with an unquenchable thirst. To attain this goals, the school tries to give child an environment of freedom specially prepared for her / his creative development which is the child right and due. Along with the prescribed syllabus, classes are offered in Computer Science, Hindi, Moral Science and Catechism, Sports and Games, Extra Curricular activities and Co-Curricular activities.
The process of learning from childhood to adult age, allow one to be truthful always, love others as one loves himself and to receive wisdom from God, so that one’s life will become gradually an enlightened life.
St.Anne’s Matric. Hr. Sec. School begins the process to nurture the little children in K.G. and accompany them to higher classes. So we wish them to be the light of the world, as we say ‘LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE’ and with the help of truth, Love and Wisdom, lead people from darkness to light.
Aims and Objectives
Integral development of the child, imparting the noble values of physical, social, intellectual, moral and spiritual growth adjusted to each child’s capacity and speed to absorb and integrate them.
Imparting the traditional academic skills of Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking and leading the child to the knowledge of Arts, Science, Commerce and all other areas of modern education within our limits.
